Privacy Policy

    The short version: Bloom stores all your data on your device only. We never collect, transmit, or sell your personal or health information. There is no account, no server, and no tracking of any kind.
  

1. Who We Are

Bloom is developed and published by Lead-Edge Solutions Limited, a company registered in Ireland (CRO number 761826). Our contact email is hello@leadedgesolutions.com.

2. What Data Bloom Collects

Bloom collects the following information that you enter directly into the app:

Period start and end dates
Cycle length preferences
OPK (ovulation predictor kit) test results and dates
IVF transfer dates and embryo day (if using IVF mode)
Daily symptom and flow logs
Notification preferences

This data is stored exclusively in your device's local storage. It never leaves your device.

3. What Data Bloom Does NOT Collect

Bloom does not collect, transmit, store remotely, or share:

Your name, email address, or any identifying information
Your location or IP address
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Usage analytics or behavioural data
Crash reports or diagnostic data
Any data with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers

There is no account creation, no login, and no cloud sync. We have no way to identify you, and we do not try to.

4. How Your Data Is Stored

All data you enter into Bloom is stored locally on your Android device using the device's standard local storage (WebStorage/localStorage). This data remains on your device at all times.

If you uninstall the app, your data will be permanently deleted from your device. We recommend using the in-app export feature to save a copy of your cycle history before uninstalling.

5. Notifications

If you enable notifications, Bloom uses Android's AlarmManager to schedule local notifications on your device. These are processed entirely on-device. No notification content is sent to any server. Bloom will request permission to send notifications when you first enable them — you can revoke this permission at any time in your device's Settings.

6. No Third-Party Services

Bloom does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data services. There are no SDKs from Google (Analytics, Firebase, Ads), Meta, or any other third party included in the app.

7. Children's Privacy

Bloom is intended for use by adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used this app, please contact us and we will provide guidance on removing local data from the device.

8. GDPR — Your Rights (EEA Users)

Because all data is stored locally on your device and we have no access to it, most GDPR rights (access, erasure, portability) are exercised directly by you through the app:

Right to access: All your data is visible within the app at all times
Right to erasure: Use "Clear all data" in the app settings, or uninstall the app
Right to portability: Use the in-app export feature to download your data as a PDF
Right to object: You may stop using the app at any time and delete all data as above

As Lead-Edge Solutions is registered in Ireland, we are subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as implemented under Irish law. Our supervisory authority is the Data Protection Commission (DPC) at dataprotection.ie.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through an app update. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
